Adam Driver reveals the sweet reason he took part in the new dinosaur movie 65

Adam Driver explained what prompted him to act in dinodrama 65 chatting with Digital spy – and the reason speaks directly to the hearts of movie buffs.

An actor who will also star in a biopic Ferrari, plays pilot Mills who crashes on an unknown planet he discovers is Earth… 65 million years ago. During his interplanetary journey, he meets fellow survivor Koa (Ariana Greenblatt) and the two team up to fend off their enemies.

Actor Kylo Ren admitted he likes the idea of ​​families flocking to local theaters to watch the movie.

“It’s an hour and 30 minutes, you can watch it with your kids in the theater, which I think was important for me at the time to be involved in such things,” he said.

“I love when the whole family can watch something at the cinema. Some of the best moments I’ve had are watching [films] with my people.”

He was drawn to the family-friendly appeal of the film, “a movie anyone could watch” featuring “dinosaurs and laser guns.”

“I mean, come on,” added Driver.

The actor also revealed that the film was originally going to look a little different.

“When we shot it, they originally wanted to make a big Hollywood movie about death, which I thought was a morbid way of putting it,” he said.

Driver, whose credits include major franchise roles and independent films, also highlighted the importance of films “of all kinds of budgets and sizes”, discussing 65a message of unity in troubled times.

“The metaphor was obvious, but I’ve always liked movies of different budgets and sizes, that’s what cinema is to me,” he said. “It felt unique and strange.”

65 is scheduled to be released in US and UK cinemas on March 10, 2023.
