Saturday night takeout spoilers follow.
Saturday night takeout returned with a bang in today’s (February 25) season premiere, seeing This morningAlison Hammond is staying at a “haunted” hotel.
With the ex Doctor Who star David Tennant serving as guest announcer, the new episode featured a prank about Hammond having to spend the night at a perfectly quaint inn that Ant and Dec “scare” for her visit.
Upon arrival, the presenter was greeted by the actress playing the receptionist, who assigned her a beautiful room and explained that the hotel had been in her family for generations.

The receptionist began showing Hammond several urns containing the alleged ashes of her loved ones, terrifying the host even before she entered her room.
Of course, the bedroom was filled with a collection of creepy dolls, which was enough for Hammond to almost ruin Ant and Dec’s prank as she ran away. The host duo had to call Tamsin Eames, Hammond’s producer This morningwho managed to convince her to stay and took her to a very interesting dinner.
At the hotel’s restaurant, Hammond told Eames that the place was haunted, but the producer dispelled her fears.
Ant and Dec turned up the fear as they remotely controlled one of the urns that fell from the fireplace, scattering ashes everywhere. Hammond’s face was priceless as viewers noted on Twitter.

“I have an affinity with spirits,” she declared, trying to convince her skeptical friend.
The host tried to communicate with the hotel spirits to prove to Eames that she was right. As soon as she asked for a sign of her presence, Ant and Dec made the lights flicker.

After lunch, it was time for the grand finale. The presenters spoofed Hammond’s room by building a false wall and installing a two-way mirror.
Alone in his room, Hammond kept looking over her shoulder. When the phone rang, which surprised her, she overcame her initial hesitation and answered it.
Then the lights flickered again, and Ant and Dec appeared in the mirror as pale ghosts, causing Hammond to scream. The host was relieved when Ant and Dec revealed it was just a prank, and the trio hugged.
