CoD: Warzone 2 DMZ – How to unlock the Heated Madness weapon blueprint

Season 3 Reloaded is available in Warzone 2, and the new Koschei Complex DMZ Exclusion Zone has an exclusive weapon blueprint for the Kastov 762 Assault Rifle, but you’ll need to find and collect the pieces to “build” it. Here’s how you can get the “Heated Madness” weapon blueprint for yourself.

How to unlock the free Heated Madness weapon blueprint

In order to get the colored blueprint for the Heated Madness Assault Rifle, you must first visit the new DMZ Restricted Zone of the Koschei Complex. This is a hidden area beneath Al Mazrah, but we have a full guide on the different ways to access this underground location.

From there, you need to locate and successfully extract five weapon parts. They don’t all have to be extracted in one DMZ match, but you’ll need them all before you can unlock the blueprint.

Fortunately, this progress is shared with teammates. So, if one teammate makes an extraction with a weapon part, everyone in the team will also get credit for unlocking the part.

Where to find Heated Madness weapon parts

You’ll want to refer to our guide here on how to locate all four Koschei Complex access points listed below and how to complete each puzzle room.

Here are all five parts of Heated Madness and where to find them:

Barrel leather

The barrel can be found by accessing any entrance to the Koschey Complex and completing the puzzle room to proceed to the Chemical Plant part of the building. This piece is in one of the vents you can crawl through near the center of the room.

This is why, you will need rebreather equipment. Make sure you search this before trying to loot an item. Optics can be found by entering the Koschei complex at the site of the Taraq/Al Mazrah Bridge. You will have to go through the first half of the swimming puzzle and after reaching the surface in the second part follow the right side path. Watch out for tripping wires and AI enemies. The path forks again, but keep to the right and you’ll find a boarded up hole in the wall. Break through the hole and dive into the flooded room with the rebreather on. Swim straight until you go through a set of doors. The optics are in the left rear corner of the room.

Warehouse skin

For storage, you’ll want to make sure you have gas mask. You need to enter the Oasis access point and go through the gas puzzle room. Once you reach the last section (marked as section 1) you want to enter the gas-filled bunker on the left side with long containers. Is it behind the canisters? containers?.

Mouth skin

You’ll want to go through Rohan Oil as well take an extra car battery and jumper cables. You’ll need one to access the Chemical Plant and a second set to power up another bunker door to continue. After entering the Chemical Plant, grab the R4D detector, which can be easily obtained somewhere in the rooms in the area. Go south in the Chemical Plant until you reach door C2.

Here you need to power it with battery and cables, go through the door (the area is called Alpha Clusters) and go straight down the hall and down the stairs to another large room. Use R4D to find the door with three glowing symbols. Then use the R4D detector on the boards around the room. There are more than four, so you want to find the ones with your symbols on them and note the numbers marked with the symbols to get the code to the door and open the muzzle room.

Tip: It can be difficult to find all three symbols. I was only able to find two of mine, but used the process of elimination to guess the third number on the keyboard. You won’t be blocked for too many guesses.

Grab the skin

The muzzle is by far the hardest and most time consuming piece to find, but you can try to grab a grab at the same time as it is located in the same area of ​​the Alpha Cluster as the muzzle. For this piece, you need to find three AQ laptops. These are general loot collected on the map, so you can find them while exploring the Koschei complex.

There is a pedestal of three servers in Alpha Clusters that says they are inactive. Interact with the servers to connect all three laptops and you’ll hear a door open nearby. In the unlocked room there is a handle and other good loot.

How to build a Hot Madness blueprint

You can check your unlock progress by going to the Challenge section of the game menu, scrolling to the DMZ tab, and selecting the Heated Madness challenge. Once you have all the parts, you can go into the gunsmith and select the Kastov 762 Assault Rifle. These weapon skin items can be found in the add-on sections, so you’ll need to equip them the same way. Example: The Heated Madness optical skin is located under the optics section of attachments. Apply all five and the plan is ready to use.
