Coronation Street star David Neilson shared a spoiler about the show while on the show Dance on ice.
The actor, who plays Roy Cropper on the soap, was present during Prop Week to support Mollie Gallagher, who is Sylvain Longchambon’s partner on the ITV skating programme.
In a brief chat with host Holly Willoughby, David described Mollie, who plays Roy’s niece Nina in the soap, as “wonderful”, saying that her confidence had grown, as it did in corrie.

Due to Mollie’s absence from the soap, David dropped a small spoiler saying she was replaced by a “furry friend”.
When Holly asked if he had ever had an accident with a prop, David replied, “Just recently, when Mollie was doing it, I have a little friend who will take her place while she’s here,” he began (via Evening news from Manchester). “I can’t say much because she’s not on screen yet, but I had this little thing on my hand and it left a little mess.”
Mollie advanced to the semi-finals from Sunday’s show despite being last on the leaderboard with a score of 33.0. The skate-off was between Siva Kaneswaran and Carley Stenson, with the latter becoming the sixth star eliminated.

This isn’t the first time David has met a colleague outside of work, and the actor is reunited with an ex corrie star Katherine Kelly earlier this month.
Katherine played Becky McDonald for six years before leaving in 2012, and posted a picture of the couple on Instagram with the caption: “Well look who I met today… Still one of my favorite human beings EVER.” #davidneilson #powerful actor #roysrolls @coronationstreet @itv.”
