Draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the Europa League and Europa League Conferences: Arsenal, Man Utd and West Ham | Football news

Arsenal and Manchester United are aiming to reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League, while West Ham are on track to reach the last eight of the Europa Conference League; find out when the draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place and who will take part in them.

EUROPE LEAGUE

Arsenal AND Manchester United they are the only English teams capable of reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League, with both teams playing in the second leg this week.

Gunners face Sporting Lisbon Mikel Arteta’s team drew 2-2 with Portugal at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Man Utd leads the first leg 4-1 against Spain in the second leg against Spain Real Betiswhich is also held on Thursday.

If both Premier League sides make it through, an English-only quarter-final is possible as clubs from the same country can face each other in the draw.

When are the draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals?

The draws will take place at 12:00 UK time on Friday 17 March in Nyon, Switzerland at UEFA headquarters.

How do draws work?

The eight winners from the round of 16 are entered into an open draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals.

There are no seedings or country protection, so clubs can face opposition from the same country.

There will also be a final draw to determine the hosts for administrative reasons for the exhibition event in Budapest, Hungary on May 31.

When are the quarter finals?

The first quarter-final matches will be played on Thursday 13 April.

The return matches will be played on Thursday, April 20.

When are the semi-finals?

The first legs of the semi-finals will be played on May 11, the return legs on May 18.

When is the final?

The final will take place on May 31 at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary.
