EastEnders revealed details of the plot of Ash Panesar’s exit.
Last month, we revealed how Gurlaine Kaur Garcha will leave the soap after three years.
Gurlaine’s character Ash has been written out of the BBC One soap and will make one final appearance in upcoming episodes.
Another big week for the Panesar family will start with Bitch trying to get more involved with their business in Leeds.
Ash later informs Nish that she has been offered a job in Canada again, leaving him worried that he is about to lose her.
Dissatisfied with this, Nish asks Suki to dissuade their daughter from accepting the job.
Suki sees things differently and wants her daughter to spread her wings. She uses reverse psychology to manipulate Ash into taking the job by implying that she is incapable of it.
When Ash predictably takes the job to prove his mom right, Suki tells Nish that there’s nothing he can do about it.
They go to The Vic to reluctantly celebrate Ash’s departure, but Nish soon becomes enraged when he realizes Bitch’s deception and sends her a sinister threat back to number 41.
As Ash prepares to leave, he has a heart-to-heart with Eve, who convinces her to have a heart-to-heart with Suki before leaving.
Ash also talks to Nish, wanting him to give Suki more responsibility for the family businesses, but will he agree?
Gurlaine initially sparked speculation about her future EastEnders posting new photos from the casting on her Instagram page.
She also confirmed that she had signed new representatives, telling fans “Excited for what’s to come.”
Some EastEnders a spokesman later confirmed to us: “We can confirm that Gurlaine will leave EastEndersand we wish her all the best for the future.”
EastEnders aired Mondays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show is also streamed on BBC iPlayer with the first episodes airing at 6am.
