The actor, who played Max Branning on the soap until 2021, posted a photo of his daughter on Instagram, accompanied by a sweet comment celebrating a special milestone.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful and amazing daughter @amberbowood,” Jake said. “I love you so much Ambs and I’m always proud of you dad xxxx.”

Amber is one of two children the actor has with his wife Alison, whom he married in 2001.
Since leaving Albert Square, Jake has been busy on stage, starring in the original cast of the West End blockbuster 2:22 A ghost story.
The actor recently returned to his role in the production after star Hugo Chegwin was forced to leave due to illness.
The latest cast includes Cheryl, and in a recent chat with Digital spydefended the cast of the Girls Aloud singer, noting, “The demographics are quite exciting. I think there is a younger audience.

“I think given the very clever cast, we have Cheryl in it, so we get a lot of younger fans. I think anything that brings a younger audience to theaters is an amazing thing.”
Speaking about returning to the show, Jake recently said, “I’m very excited to be back with the cast by the end of April. Danny Robins’ script is funny, touching, and so funny, and without a doubt the best play I’ve ever read.
“If you’ve seen the show before, go back and see it again, and I promise you’ll enjoy it as much as I know you will the second time around.”
