EmmerdaleAmy Walsh officially returns as Tracy Metcalfe.
Last seen in the Yorkshire Dales during the soap’s 50th anniversary craze, the actress announced her return to Instagram this week with some photos.

Walsh’s return to work came after she opened up about the challenges of motherhood.
Revealing her toddler’s struggles with breastfeeding, Walsh said: “She was uncomfortable with her tummy and we didn’t know why until we found out she had a milk intolerance.
“All of this combined with sheer exhaustion and lack of sleep was really hard. I didn’t leave the house for eight months, barely, and if anything it would be a few hours away so I could rush home if I needed Ja.
“Everyone was telling me, ‘When you get to six months, you’ll be fine,’ but after six months it was still really hard,” she admitted.
“I shot a postpartum depression story as Tracy while I was pregnant and did a ton of research but still didn’t know what I was getting into. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s tough.’
Emmerdale aired weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV1 and broadcast on ITVX.
