Wednesday star Jenna Ortega Beetlejuice 2 has received some important updates.
First, the production of Warner Bros. will begin tomorrow, May 10, in London before hitting the big screen. September 6, 2024 (By Diversity).
In addition, we knew that Winona Ryder was set to reprise her role as Lydia Deetz in the sequel, but now we also know that Ortega will play Lydia’s daughter. She was rumored to be in early negotiations for the role in March.
Not much else is available about the film, though we do know that Michael Keaton will return as the titular Beetlejuice and Justin Theroux will star in an unknown role.

Scream 6 The Ortega star previously opened up about her relationship with director Tim Burton, describing him as a “legend” after he convinced her to star in Wednesday.
After meeting with director and executive producer Burton, Ortega eventually agreed to take the role of Wednesday Addams, after turning it down “several times”.
Beetlejuice 2 will hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
