Coronation StreetMax Turner fears further bullying at the Secure Training Center tonight (May 12) after he was found with a secret phone call from Daniel Osbourne.
Max worries when fellow inmate Gav Adetiba discovers special treatment from their teacher.
Earlier this week, Daniel’s concern for Max was noticed by other students at the Safe Training Center. When the boys started teasing Max, he tried to prove his worth by disrupting Daniel’s class.

On Friday’s episode, Daniel gets his fiancée Daisy Midgeley’s spare phone and takes it with him to work. He is unaware that Daisy was using the phone to send fake “Crystal” messages to Ryan Connor.
Daniel records a video message for Max, suggesting that if something is bothering him, he can record it with his phone as a video diary.
Daniel discreetly hands the phone to Max at the end of the last lesson. However, when Max watches Daniel’s video, Gav immediately rumbles to him.
Gav demands to know where Max got the phone, forcing him to explain Daniel’s video diary idea.

Max fears it will make him an even bigger target in STC if Gav tells the others, but could Gav’s reaction surprise him?
Last week, Paddy Bever – who plays Max – teased his character and Gav’s upcoming friendship.
He explained: “Gav is quite respected at STC and before they met, Max was apprehensive about it. But Gav has this wonderful energy about him that is so upbeat and fun and funny and Max really lacked that in his life.
“He hasn’t had a good time in years! Max missed a lot of childhood and I think there is something very childish about Gav. Noah [Olaoye, who plays Gav] it introduces the characters very well, and Max is drawn to the idea that life isn’t always miserable.

“It’s a wonderful feeling for Max because Gav brings some relief to Max’s life, which has been very dark over the years.”
Elsewhere in today’s episode, Ryan feels unwell in his apartment and records a desperate voice memo for “Crystal”.
When Max hears the message on Daisy’s phone, will he raise the alarm?
