Lockwood & CoNetflix fantasy series starring BridgertonRuby Stokes has unfortunately been cancelled.
The series, in which the actress played a teenager who senses the supernatural and joins a paranormal detective agency, was discontinued after the first season dropped in January. The show topped the charts in many countries when it fell but Diversity reports that it has generally failed to meet the number required by Netflix to renew.
Production company Complete Fiction addressed the cancellation in a statement that reads: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce this Lockwood & Co won’t be back for a second series. Creating this program was one of the most rewarding experiences of our career and we will always treasure it.

All three are superstars and we can’t wait to see them shine in the dazzling, bright future that undoubtedly awaits them…
“So many people have watched and enjoyed this show around the world, and that’s why we do what we do. So watch great TV. Keep going to the cinema. Keep risking new things.”

Stroud, who wrote the original books, released his own statement joining the production company in praising the cast and crew for their work on the show and the fans for their dedication.
“It meant everything to me,” he wrote, adding, “I want you to know that Portland Row will always be open for business.”
Lockwood & Co is now available in its entirety on Netflix.
