Todd Boehly was photographed wearing a full Chelsea outfit during a drinking session at Harry’s Bar in London.
The big-spending football club owner donned a Chelsea coat and scarf and a blue hat at the exclusive Mayfair bar on Friday night.
Ironically, the private member club has strict rules about guests wearing “sportswear,” but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for the American.
Boehly, who backed manager Graham Potter with around £323m in the January window, appeared to be in good spirits despite Chelsea’s obvious struggles since Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich took over.
There are reports in France that Boehly and his financial partners are interested in acquiring the Ligue 1 team Strasbourg.

The American owner seemed in good spirits despite Chelsea’s obvious problems on the pitch
According to L’Equipe, Boehly is interested in a 100 percent takeover of the French side.
Boehly and his partners are reported to have spoken with Strasbourg president Mark Keller and are “very interested” in taking over the club.
So far, the American’s time at Chelsea has not gone as planned, with Chelsea dropping to 10th place despite significant investment in the squad.
Boehly’s appearance at Harry’s Bar comes on the eve of Chelsea’s game against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon – a match he and Potter really could have played had the Blues won.
Chelsea – who were European champions in 2021 – have only won two of their last 14 matches in all competitions as Potter tries to keep his heavily invested side ticking.
Potter retains the backing of Chelsea bosses but will be under immense pressure to win this crucial match to dispel rumors he could be removed.
The Blues – who hoped at the start of the campaign to be title contenders – emerge from a shocking defeat at home to bottom-placed Southampton – with a beautiful free-kick from midfielder James Ward-Prowse causing more misery for fans.
Boehly was also photographed with Potter during one of Chelsea’s Cobham training sessions ahead of the Spurs clash.
