by Traitors is preparing a sketch for Comic Relief, with a special set for host Claudia Winkleman and Great British Baking the legendary Mary Berry.
Director Richard Curtis, who co-founded Comic Relief with Lenny Henry in 1985, revealed on Winkleman’s Radio 2 that the former judge would star in a special scheduled to air on March 17.

“I’m incredibly excited about this sketch. Traitors is the greatest reality show of all time, and I hope we can tear it apart mercilessly,” he said. “There is a very impressive group of actors who have come together to destroy the reputation of Claudia Winkleman and the BBC in favor of Comic Relief.”
Winkleman and Berry are also joined in the special by comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders, the former saying, “It was the second worst day of my life. The absolute worst was meeting Jennifer Saunders. The only reason I agreed to this was to show Claudia Winkleman the horror that awaits her in the mirror in 30 years.”
Saunders joked about her comic partner, saying, “Worst day of my life, I don’t know why I put up with this. The only reason I agreed to this was to meet Mary Berry.

Claudia, who hosts the main series, revealed she was excited about the special, saying, “I can’t wait for people to see this sketch. I am very grateful to Comic Relief for putting it all together. It feels like an alternate universe and I like it.”
The group promised that more celebrities participating in the event will be revealed in the near future, and the goal of the Faithful will be to expose the biggest Betrayer.
Traitors in Great Britain was recently renewed for a second series with Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment at the BBC, saying, “We can certainly expect even more scams and psychological games from the Traitors and the Faithful.”
Traitors Relief special comic will air on March 17. Traitors in Great Britain aired on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer. US traitors is available to stream on BBC iPlayer in the UK and Peacock in the US.
